Freedom Ride Turkey Day 5K Photos

Dear Runners, 

I see you. One of the amazing things about having the camera is it catches moments that are sometimes overlooked. I see your determination, your grit, and your commitment. There's a beautiful moment that you wear on your face when you see the finish line, make it to the top of a tough hill, or dig deep to push through a wall. I see you and your family having fun, enjoying each other, and challenging every step. I hear your family and friends waiting at the finish line checking every face until they see yours and breaking out into cheers and sometime tears at your accomplishment. 

Every single one of your faces are beautiful and I'm completely honored to have caught some of those moments. 

Dear Freedom Ride Rescue,

Thanks so much for inviting me out! I enjoy looking for the off the beaten path images and moments and was not prepared for how many I would be able to spot at a 5K. I learned a lot about myself and photographing events and I'm happy to have been able to donate my time to take, edit, and share these photos. I do hope you'll have me again. I suspect I'll be much better prepared to get all the best moments with this experience under my belt.
