Pawfect Match is a small foster based dog rescue out of Apex NC. This rescue is known for taking the "hard" cases and never shies away from scared, hurt, or sick dogs. They always need fosters, event volunteers, adopters, and donations.  

SPCA of Wake County has a beautiful facility and takes in dogs, cats, and small animals. They offer a foster program and tons of volunteer opportunities. There are tons of resources on their site to help with everything from avoiding rehoming to spay/neuter financial assistance. 

Freedom ride is a small foster based rescue in Wake County NC. It's a strong group of passionate and caring people that dig deep to make sure the dogs in their care receive the best possible options. They too are always in need of fosters, adopters, volunteers, and donations. 

SNAP-NC offers low cost spay/neuter programs across central NC.
