And we’re off!

A new pixel pattern has been selected, minorly edited, and prepped for RANDOM PICK block sewing. This one is going to be a beast. It is 175×175 pixels and should finish around 90″ x  90″.

Quick math says I gotta cut 30,625 1″ squares from this pile of fabric. 30,625. Let’s just go ahead and acknowledge I’ll screw up at least 10% either in cutting, piecing, or finishing so I think its safe to go with an even 31K.

Like the spaceship quilt, I’ll let fate decide what order the blocks get made with random draw and try to get at least 3 done each week. It’s possible to finish this up this year if I just stay focused and dont give up (or chase shiny new massive projects).

I’ll never know how or why I get myself into these things. Why cant it just be simple easy small projects???
